How can you install a 1.73 MWp system on warehouse roofs without additional ballast?
In large industrial installations, every additional kilogram on the roof matters. In a project involving four warehouses, it was necessary to utilize a large area of membrane-covered roofs without adding a heavy ballast system.
System weight
Every extra kilogram on the roof counts, so heavy ballast was out of the question.
Membrane Coating
A structure attached directly to the roof membrane.
Project Scope
Four halls and approximately 7,000 square meters of module space.
Basic Layout
The layout is based on an analysis of the specific roof, not on a repetitive pattern.

A lightweight, welded RBT Solar system was used, attached directly to the roof membrane. The placement of the supports and the layout of the entire structure are based on an analysis of the specific roof and the technical design, rather than a standardized template.
The structure is designed to accommodate 2,780 modules with a total capacity of 1.73 MWp, covering an area of approximately 7 000 m². The system allows for the full utilization of existing rooftops without the need for additional ballast blocks.
